Trunk Font

I bought a children's stencil from a charity shop for GBP 1. And converted it to a font.

The original stencil was quite inconsistent in terms of letter height: i have brought the drawings into line and included optically compensating overshoots. Of course it is lovingly hand kerned.

The font has quite uneven stroke and weight: for example, /E has some thick/thin contrast, but /H has none; /M/N/Z are much heavier, due to avoiding sharp internal corners in the stencil. This is faithful to the original stencil.

I would suggest applications requiring a friendly and slightly amateurish look.

I suspect the stencil is based originally on either Helvetica Rounded or AG Book Rounded.
